eBay shopping

My friend is buying her stuff like T-shirts, watches through eBay. All looked good and cheap. “How much did you pay it for it?” She smiles, “5 dollars” sometimes she pays 1 dollar for her favorite book, but when I found out she has to pay shipping and handling fee for 7 dollars, I thought it was funny. I decided to participate in modern way of shopping through eBay.

One day I found some Japanese cosmetics, my mother’s favorite brand name on eBay. I won the bid. I was surprised to see the seller was from Toronto, Canada. To save shipping and handling fee, I emailed him what his address was. Surprisingly he was living one block down from my home! I asked for his phone number and called him to say that I would pick it up at his house. He paused a few seconds and said he preferred to meet me at a coffee shop.

I met him at a coffee shop and paid money. He gave me extra 3 small bottles of lotion along with the one I bought. His real job is a disk jockey. He came from Greece when he was young. I asked him, “Did I scare you when I told you I would pick this up at your house?” He was smiling, “That’s true!” I laughed loudly.

He invited me and my friends to a party at a club where he was playing Greek music. He was wearing a nice red shirt and was surrounded by pretty and sexy girls.

I sometimes run into him on the streets in my neighborhood.

Hmmm… I tend to buy lots of movies and cds off ebay, but my favorite is probably this winter/army jacket I bought for $50 brand new. Perfect timing because of the snow right now:)

    :) Nice story.

I love ebay, I buy things off it all the time. It’s kinda addicting.

But it sucks when they rip you off.
