A couple of years ago, I received a call from Korea. He told me he found my phone number through a minister in Toronto that I had never heard of. He said some members from his company including him would visit Telus, a mobile phone company in Toronto. He asked if I could help them on the day when they were supposed to be in Telus.
They were all new employees from a Korean telecom company. When I asked them how they were chosen for the free trip to Canada and America, they were chosen by the result of an English test that the company gave all of its new employees that year. Four men were wearing black suits and a woman was also wearing a suit. They looked very serious.
I did my work for them for about 1.5 hours. They asked me to join them for lunch. They took me to a Korean restaurant. I thought they were funny. First their English test score was good, but they needed my help. Second, they came all the way from Korea and would shortly visit here, but they still did not want to try different kinds of food rather than korean food.
When I left them, one of them gave me an envelope. “I appreciate your help…”
Later when I opened the envelope, I almost fainted with happiness. American one hundred dollars: One, two, three… oh my god, 6! It was 600 dollars!
I invited some friends to a steak house for dinner and celebrated with the easy money.
Thankoo thankoo for your encouragement.
As I promised, I am going to write 100 stories.
LOL thats awesome. I didn’t have your site bookmarked properly so I thought you had stopped at the zodiac dinner story. Happy day for me I get new stories! yay!
