Korean Autumn Harvest Festival took place in North York, Toronto on Saturday. Most of the people there were young students, which is different from the Dano Festival in Koreatown on Bloor Street.
Woman preparing “blood sausage.” Sounds awful but it is delicious!
Singing contest at night. The most popular performers were the “human beatbox” kids.

haha, I can eat blood soup too!
I took my friend Helen to a korean soup restaurant in Toronto a few months ago. I ordered soup where solid chunks of blood are mixed with soft cooked vegetables, but Helen ordered bean sprout soup.
When I explained to her what I ordered, I saw she had a frown on her face.
Soup and rice came soon. Helen all but fainted to see some little chunks of solid blood in her vegetable soup. The lady cooking the soup must have made a mistake to use same ladle.
I could understand how she felt, but it was funny too.
Tell me about your story if you have. : )
I didn’t know koreans made blood sausage as well. Ew. :)
