Thousand Islands

Have you ever been to Gananoque? It is a very small town with a population of 5500. To access the “Thousand Islands”, I had to take a 1 hour boat tour from the town. The sunset was brilliant and I was suprised to see so many different sizes of islands belonging to both America or Canada. In order to see the American side, which is a 5 hour boat tour, I would have to show my passport. An hour after, I already felt stuck on the boat even though I was surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Lots of islands have cottages on them, built by rich people. I saw some were having a barbecue on their island.

The first 6 pictures were taken from the boat, and the picture of the old man riding a tiny car was taken while I was browsing the town. I couldn’t help but take his photo because I saw him 3 times while I was walking some blocks of the town. I missed the writing on the front of his car, it said,”Maphia”. He must be something in the town I guess.

I went to Niagara Falls too. I’ll post those pictures later.

    Sebastien,

I traveled over the weekend from Friday to Sunday. All pictures are very fresh!

I like to live anywhere. All the places I have visited could be my second hometown.

    I’ve never been to Vancouver.

I’m from Montreal and I’ve been living in Vancouver for the past two years. Vancouver is more expensive. housing, food, etc. But compared to Toronto I wouldn’t know. :)

When did you take these trips in Ontario Maang?

This is kinda unrelated but how would you compare the living conditions from Vancouver vs. Toronto?
    Cost of living?
    People?
    Wheather? etc…..

I wanna visit one of the cities one day or even possibly move.
