Troublemaker?

While I was in LA staying at my mother’s house a few years ago, I met an interesting man named Alberto. He was a handsome and funny man. He was working as an apartment manager near my mother’s neighborhood. He asked me a question while I was taking a walk. “Hey, are you Korean?’ I was surprised, “how do you know?” Our conversation started from this.

He said he divorced twice and had 3 children from the marriages and was single at the moment. He showed me his children’s pictures. Even though I did not ask about his any personal questions, he kept telling me about his shocking life story.

1. He used to be a drug dealer which caused him to get stuck in jail.
2. He got caught due to drunken driving, so his driver’s license was suspended.
3. He was taking education program once a week for it.
4. He used to study music at university.
5. He studied theology and worked as a minister once!

Does it sound like he is totally a troublemaker?

When he was in jail, he had to participate in rehabilitation programs. One of them was to clean a pigsty. I thought it made sense. His life should be reborn by cleaning dirty things that he did in the past. But when I heard that he had to go to the desert and rake the sand for hours, I couldn’t understand the reason. Guess what?

Raking the desert wouldn’t provide any profitable consequences, so the purpose of the education program was to assure him to realize his meaningless life in the past. I couldn’t help laughing. He got married to a minister’s daughter recently and had another baby.

    Thanks,I hope so, Damn English!

Alberto asked me how we say,”I love you” in Korean. I taught him,”Saa Raang HaeYo”, then he used the word to any koreans he met including me!
How can I “digest” a person like him! lol

Hello, dong! bomb. Are you the same “Dong” writing comments in my blog or another person?

lol actually he did try to ask me out. He seemed to have confidence in getting a woman anytime anywhere he wanted. : )

If I had followed him at that time, I may be living in the Mexican culture now and drinking beer, dancing salsa every night boogie boogie..haha

My life at that time couldn’t afford a person like him.
    I wanted to relax.
