I found your website while searching for Korean food recipes to make for my husband (we are newlywed!)
My mom is an awesome, “natural” cook…but I found it intimidating to try to make Korean food. Mostly I make Pajun, soupy noodle with myulchi-stock, etc.

Thank you for your time and thought in preparing these videos and also for being so excited and supportive of your viewers!

You must be talking about the fish corvina which is kind of croaker fish, "Jo kie" in Korean.
As you said, it's very simple recipe. Sprinkle some salt on the fresh fish and dry the liquid from the fish with paper towel. Then cook it on heated pan with vegetable oil until both sides turn into golden brown. That's it!

Hi Maangchi,

I go to my favourite Korean restaraunt at least once a month. my favourite is the friled Yellow Carvina. It does not look so hard to make, so I tried to make it at home. But it does not look so good. The taste is pretty good. Wonder if you have a recipe for that:)

Yes, it’s called “siru dduk” red bean layered sweet rice cake. Many people (mostly korean friends) love my siru dduk. : ) I will post the recipe video later. Thank you!
