Too bad I never got a chance to meet any of my readers during my trip to New York. I was busy and I guess you were, too.

I ate at Hop Kee restaurant 2 times when I was in New York because it was so good. In order to get in there, I had to wait in line 30 minutes! The guy was supposed to call me inside by my number, but I never heard anything. So I went and asked him what was going on.

He said he called me, but he must have been mumbling because I never heard him. He gave me a seat, but it took me 40 minutes in total to get inside. But once I had that food I wasn’t complaining.

The first night I had shellfish, but it looked so delicious and I was so hungry that I ate it before I could take a picture.

The second time I went to Hop Kee I had Cantonese style crab. I ate so much my face was swollen the next day. But it was so delicious.

The Seafood Basket at Hop Kee was also very generous and popular. There were scallops, squid, shrimp, octopus, clams, and some colorful vegetables in it. The basket is made of fried noodles, and you can eat the basket when you’re done with seafood. It was fun.

Naeng myun in the famous Dae Dong restaurant. Cold noodles, next summer I will show you how to make it.

Oh, I made a double order. When I eat naeng myun I don’t worry about gaining weight, I love it so much.

New York style pizza. My mouth is too small for this! This is vegetarian pizza with spinach and lots of cheese, very thick.

    Hi, I’m laughing loudly now. For me the seafood basket looks very delicious. I’m laughing because I can see your point of view over the seafood basket dish where squid legs are hanging out. Are you saying “ooohee, I’m scared of the tentacles on the squid legs.” : )

    what? No pictures of the clothing stores? Hehe That seafood with the basket looks kinda scary.
    One of my canadian employees took his mother and brother to visit his new wife’s family in China during Xmas. His mother had never left her little village. She had trouble with the food! It must have been overwhealming!

    Anyway I’d eat anything you made without hesitation guaranteed! ;)

    I have to watch out my weight from now. During my trip, I usually don’t think about healthy diet. I keep eating delicious food. : )
