I have some good news! One of my former students (a very sweet young man) is a family friend. He has invited me to his niece's first birthday. That is a very big deal in Korea. People spend almost as much money on it as they spend on a wedding. I am going to the party in Korea in February. I have my tickets, my passport and am starting to buy gifts and save money to stay in a motel and take the bus and train.The little girl in the picture has a new baby brother!
