He’s been a big fan of Korean food ever since, cooking it three times a week! I was very surprised when I saw the photos he sent me: everything looked delicious! Check out his chapssaltteok, it couldn’t be more perfect!

What is your name and where do you live?
My name is Sergio and I live in Madrid, Spain.

Tell me about the first time you ever tasted Korean food. Where were you, and what did you eat?
The first time I tried Korean food was in L.A. I was travelling with my friends and we stopped for lunch. I didn’t know much about Korean food, so we ordered bulgogi, and it came with banchan, rice and soup. I remember the taste of everything, it was so delicious and healthy, we really liked it a lot.

How often do you cook Korean food following my recipes?
About three times a week, or even more.

What are your favorite Korean dishes? Choose 3, please!
It’s so hard to choose!! Ok, I will say soft tofu stew, seafood pancake and bibimbap.

What’s your best Korean dish, the one that everybody compliments you on when you make it?
I guess it is the baechu kimchi, which especially seems to impress Koreans. When they try my kimchi they appreciate that a foreigner loves something so special to them.

They were delighted!
