This time our Korean Food Fan is Shaiful from Singapore! The first time he had Korean food was bibimbap at a food court in Singapore. Ever since then he’s been a huge fan, and now he makes his own at home. Nice meeting you Shaiful! I’d like to meet you and your family someday!

My name is Shaiful. I’m 17. I am from Singapore :)
Tell me about the first time you ever tasted Korean food. Where were you, and what did you eat?
The first time I tasted korean food was when I had lunch at a food court here in Singapore. I bought Bibimbap which has carrots, spinach, beef/chicken, gochujang, cucumber, bean sprout and also sesame seed and egg, with kimchi and anchovy side dish. I love it so much. I always come back to the shop to try different food like kimchi ramyeon, ddeokbokki, and fried fish :)
How often do you cook Korean food following my recipes?
I would try out 1 to 2 dishes a month using your recipes. It also depends on my budget. I’ve tried cooking korean fried chicken, hoddeok, kimbap,

What’s your best Korean dish, the one that everybody compliments you on when you make it?
My family really loves chicken so they really love the Korean Fried Chicken because it’s so Crispy and sweet and a little spicy :)
Stir-fried rice (Bokkeumbap) ” I added diced hotdogs, onion and egg”
Ramyeon “The ramyeon has onion, red chili, parsley and seaweed in it.”
Kimbap: “The kimbap includes egg, cucumber, artificial crab and I put mayonnaise in it ^^”
