Korean cooking ingredients:

Barley

This barley is split barley and it’s called “Haal Maek” . You can use whole grain barley, too .

Recipe for barley rice:
1 cup of uncooked rice, 1 cup of barley and 2.5 cup of water

  1. Rinse the mixture of rice and barley in a pot.
  2. Put 2.5 cup of water and cover the lid of the pot.
  3. Heat it over high heat until it boils, and stir it with a spoon a few times.
  4. Simmer about 20 minutes over low heat

I have a couple of request for you. I was wondering if you could show me how to make the split mung bean pancakes with pork and fernbrake and also the split mung bean stew bee-gee-gigae with kimchi and pork as well.

    Thank you so much!
