I didn’t have edible flowers to use in it, but I was curious about the taste. I didn’t think to substitute the flowers, but they still turned out yummy. This picture was before I poured the syrup.

That plate is awesome!
Beautiful round shape hwajeon without hwa (flowers)! You can add a little bit of sesame oil when you cook. It will be more tasty.
