First time easy kimchi!

We made the easy kimchi recipe exactly as directed, except that we used raw oysters instead of the marinated squid (didn’t want to wait a week). Everything went perfectly. Especially enjoying the kimchi on the countertop which already tastes great after only two days!

    Yes, kimchi will ferment in a few days at room temperature. It looks great!

      Yeah, it’s fantastic! Although I definitely am double bagging and packing everything, and put containers or baking soda and coffee grounds in the fridge and freezer ;-)
