I made this for dinner for my boyfriend David and I on a chilly night to fight off the cold. As soon as the kimchi smell filled the apartment David would not stop asking when the soup was going to be done. This began to give me insight into how he must have pestered his mom back in Korea when she was cooking too! But, his patience payed off, and he requested that I keep making this even when the weather starts to warm up. Yet another great recipe from Maangchi :)
