steamed pork buns:
I tried to use the ingredients list provided by Maangchi, however there aren´t korean markets around my hometown so i had to improvise a bit starting by doing from scratch the mandu skins dough. I used two cups of all purpose flour, ½ to 1 cup of water and a pinch of salt. I had a hard time trying to make the wrapping so i decided to stop wasting mandus wrappings and follow the second type of wrapping (it looks like a little sea shell). I didn´t boil or fried the mandus, i just steamed with a bamboo steamer.
Sigeumchi namul, it was really easy to make and really tasty although i think i used lots of toasted sesame oil and i found it quite strong so please follow Maangchi´s measures.
Considering that my husband is quite picky with veggies, he ate almost all the sigeumchi namul and even asked to have some more in other ocassion!!!
Thanks Maangchi!!!!!!
