When I saw this video I was so excited and told oppa that I had to make this. Finally we bought the living crabs from Chinatown. Killing them was very scary to me at the beginning because even they were not awake after freezing, their legs still moved because of nerve. But after the first 2 or 3, we became used to it. Sadly not every female crab had eggs in them, but every one tasted delicious. I made two batches, one following maangchi’s recipe, and one adding Chinese cooking wine and replace half of the soy sauce with the Chinese dark soy sauce, Lao Chou. It made the color more beautiful, and a little sweeter than the normal soy sauce. Thanks Maangchi!
