I made some 떡국 for 설날. I used a mix of two recipes; the stock is made using a different recipe since I didn’t have beef brisket. I used shiitake mushrooms and made stock with that, onions, garlic and kelp; then once I had that done I used Maangchi’s recipe for the rest (adding the sliced shiitake mushrooms to the soup). I also added sesame seeds to make it prettier. It was very delicious!!! 새해 복 많이 받으세요!
