  1. What is your name and where do you live?
    My name is Abigail Mosqueda ,I’m 21 yrs. old,and I’m from Cebu,Philippines
  2. What do you do and how many family members do you have?
I’m a Registered Nurse. I just graduated from nursing school last March and passed the license exam last June and I’m not exactly doing anything at the moment. As for family, I’m the youngest of two daughters, and actually the youngest family member in the third generation on both sides of the family. I currently live with my parents, my paternal grandmother and my uncle (my dad’s brother).

Abigail-Mosqueda's-familyMy older sister moved to California a few years back, she used to be my Guinea pig, coz she loves my cooking!but after she moved… i have the rest of the family helping me out. there used to be tons of people living in the house, but everyone started moving out. The older generation of the family LOVES to cook, but the younger ones (where i belong) well, they just love to eat…except me..i love to do both.My family travels a lot for vacations, and i have been exposed to different cuisine at a very young age, not to mention my family ethnicity. I come from a household that practices Chinese, Filipino and Spanish Traditions and customs.

  3. How often do you cook Korean food following my recipes?
All the time! It was only recently that i actually started liking Korean cuisine. I started liking KPOP and the culture first. i was addicted, and still am, to Korean shows and dramas. And, when food was involved, you can hear my stomach grumbling a mile away. Well, to make a very long story (in my blog) short, I started searching for Jajangmyeon, Ddukbokki and Bibimbop in Korean restaurants, but they don’t sell it. I was quite frustrated, and I guess I heard my inner Cook saying, “hey! why buy it when you can make it yourself?” I started searching on the internet and…Voila! Thank You Maangchi…  Now, i cook Korean Cuisine when needed (when i’m craving for it…which is all the time) and alternate it with different cuisines, sometimes I experiment and combine dishes from different cultures.
