My regular blog commenter Agasuka made Dol sot bibimbop. Check it out by visiting her website. She wrote me:

Maangchi,
I made Dol Sot Bi Bim Bab! I like the rice cracker at the bottom of the pot.
I also made the egg soup!

However, I spent too much time taking pictures and I had to reheat the dol sot bibimbab again. In other words… keep waiting and waiting …
when can I eat? :..(The amount of ingredients are enough for two pots of dol sot bibimbab. I ate them for two days.
I feel very ‘garlic’gy in my mouth even I brushed my teeth, well I will make some green tea and see if it improves.

My response:

When can you eat it? Anytime! I never wait until it cools down. : ) Garlic’gy smell? lol! Find someone who needs your hard time and give him your bad galic breath before the smell is gone. : )

    Do you know where I can find a recipe for my favorite – bibim guk su? Not sure of the spelling…anyway I love those cold noodles and that is my favorite dish!

    I checked your blog and found it cool! Where are you going in Thailand? I also took some cooking classes in Chiangmai in Thailand years ago for fun! You will eat lots of food that you make.

    I have not thought about comm ercialcooking class so far.I will think about it later.

  6. I was checking the statistic of my blog… 30 visits? Weird… Usually nobody comes to my blog.

    And now I know why! Because of the free advertisement by you.

    I cannot stop laughing when I read your suggestion on the garlic-gy smell.

    I had the Dol Sot Bibimbab last night, and the smell still lingered in my mouth this morning… I wonder how Koreans manage this, since almost every dish consists of garlic? Maybe Korean made toothpaste can kill the smell better?
