This week our Korean food fan is my longtime reader Phil Gottling and his wife Wei, from Hawaii.

Phil has been cooking Korean dishes for a long time. He first contacted me years ago and told me he enjoyed my recipes for gaji-namul and hotteok a lot. He filled out this interview a while ago, so I think he has been cooking Korean food for years! I’m very happy to hear that his wife loves his Korean dishes.

Check out their big, wonderful nice smiles in the photo below. They look like people that I can talk to for hours and hours! I love his colorful scarf, too! If I visit Honolulu someday, I definitely want to meet them. Happy cooking!
