Here is my mini interview with Sriwanti and the photos of Korean dishes that she made! You will see how serious she is when she approaches Korean cooking. Her gimbap presentation is the best so far that I have ever seen. Her son Yodha is 20 month old now.
What is your name and where do you live?
My full name is Sriwanti and I’m currently living in Jakarta, Indonesia.
This photo was sent on March 10,2011. He grew up so fast! Sriwanti says, “My son Yodha had the mandu for breakfast and lunch, and he loves it! He ate more than his usual portion. My husband loves it too! I
should make it often. :D”
This photo was taken when the baby was 4 month old.
Sriwanti says, ” My son’s name is Yodha Dharma Huang and he’s actually already 20 months old now! “
What do you do and how many family members do you have ?
I am a housewife and there are 3 members in my family (my husband, me and my son) and a maid who lives in our house,
How often do you cook Korean food following my recipes?
Since i found your website, i have been cooking at least 1 recipe a week.
What are your favorite Korean dishes? Choose 3, please.
My favorite korean dishes are bibimbap, gimbap and yachaejeon.
” i watched the video few weeks ago kinda forgot and mistaken the artificial crab with carrot and avocado for cucumber.. anyway my husband also doesnt like artificial crab so we’re fine.. hehehe.. u see two large plates? My husband finished 1 plate by himself for dinner. haha.. i made variation out of the recipe.. one with tuna and the other one with beef.. :)”
dakgangjeong (sweet spicy fried chicken)
What’s your best Korean dish, the one that everybody compliments you on when you make it?
So far only my husband ever tried my korean food and he likes dokbokki (he even requested it for breakfast!) and bibimbap.
I’m happy to be able to get connected again! Was visiting my parents for chinese new year and been busy for the past few weeks.. Hopefully i will be cooking delicious korean food again soon! ^^V
