I keep forgetting to put this in! My recipe request is to see Maangchi make gejang, or crabs marinated in soy sauce. I saw a little girl on a Korean variety show say that if she was good that day her parents would buy her gejang as a reward. She seemed to love that dish a lot, so I'm curious about it and what makes it something even a little girl would love to eat. Kerri

Maangchi Imo I second this, this my Mother would make when we lived in North Carolina. I remember taking trip with her to the Fish Monger and she order the crab and then I watch as she cook the crab was very yummy. I hope one day to see this video =]

Oh, yeah! My mom used to make this all of the time! My parents live in Maryland, so blue crab was easy to get. This was one of my favorite stews. I hope it is posted soon! (galbi tang first though, haha)

Hello there Maangchi:) I have watched a few korean variety shows and I keep seeing that quite a lot of koreans love to eat this uncooked crab dish. It was said by my favourite host, Yoo Jaesuk sshi that it goes really well with rice and kim! Please do teach me if you know how to make them. Thank you:)

You mentioned gae-jang once in your blog~ A spicy salty crab side dish... My grandmother use to make this for me when I was younger~ Could you post the recipe and a video? Thank you!!
