I made this one and it is really tasty http://aeriskitchen.com/2008/12/bellflower-root-sidedish-%EB%8F%84%EB%9D%BC%EC%A7%80-%EB%AC%B4%EC%B9%A8doraji-moochim/

I would also like a recipe for one that is not spicy.

Maangchi, could you do a video showing how to make the Korean side dish "doraji" - 도라지 ? I think it is so tasty, but I can't figure out how to make it like in the Korean restaurants. 감사합니다! :)

I have never tasted it, but it sounds like the recipe invented by someone brilliant! Check my dakkangjung recipe http://www.maangchi.com/recipe/dakkangjung

It sounds like you can make it easily if you use the recipe but replace chicken with doriji (bell flower roots).

Yes, I will include it to my list of upcoming video recipes.

Thank you very much!

At my school they sometimes make this side dish. It is sooooo good. It is doraji that has been battered and deep fried then covered in a bright red spicy sauce.

Is this a normal side dish? I've never seen it anywhere except at my school? Do you have any idea how to make it?
