Hey guys! I'm Clement from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and I'm currently studying Industrial Design in University of New South Wales in Sydney. I'm 19 years old and love cooking very much. I wasn't really interested into cooking before until the time when I'm going to start my university life soon. Like many other university students, I've got to learn how to cook for the first time to feed myself, friends and families, anytime and anywhere. At that time, my dream is not only just to cook for survival, but to cook some real yummy food with passion and love. I also wanted to cook and learn something different... and Korean food has started my wonderful journey. I chose Korean food instead of other cuisines because Korean food is very underrated and not as popular as French, Italian, Japanese, Thai, Chinese and etc. That was my main reason because I like to try new things. Besides that, I found that Korean cooking is not that complicated and the ingredients are relatively easy to find. What I love about Korean food is that we treat Korean food as our medicine. A lot of Korean dishes are well-known for their medicinal or healing properties such as Kimchi (김치), Hobajuk (호박죽), Doenjang jjigae ((된장찌개) and many more. Moreover, I like the fact that Korean food is not over-spiced so that we could smell and taste the original flavour of the dishes. Korean cooking always uses fresh and healthy ingredients which is why Korean diet is one of the healthiest diets in the world. There are so many ways that I could describe Korean food, It's very simple and honest cooking, lots of different flavours, colourful, healthy, artistic and etc. I would always use my five senses to appreciate Korean food before, while and after eating. Somehow in a strange way, whenever I cook Korean food at home for my friends and family, whenever I'm eating at a Korean restaurant (and the best thing is, thanks to Korean food, I can read Korean now!) I feel like I'm at home, so Korean food it's a comfort food for me and It has definitely changed my life. I've got to say...that's pretty amazing. I would like to say a very big thank you to Maangchi as well because Maangchi is the one that inspires me in everything. I always look up to Maangchi. In my opinion, Korean food has a big potential to become the next big thing and I'm very impressed with the innovative Taste of Korea team and the hardworking Korea Tourism Organization in the way how they promote Korean food to the world. I can say that Korean food is a role model for other countries that are also working hard to promote their cuisines. By the way, at the same time, I like cooking Malaysian food and very interested to promote my very own cuisine. Malaysian food is also very underrated and if you are not familiar with Malaysian food, do check it out or ask me anything about it if you are curious about Malaysian food. My last words? Ewlung, I see what you mean. You would have to individually translate all lines that you don't understand. I copied and pasted few Korean words into Google Translate <a href="http://translate.google.com/#ko" rel="nofollow">http://translate.google.com/#ko</a>|en|%20%20%EC%9D%B4%EB%A6%84 and then I also input English and got Korean translation to match up the "characters." It's a lot of work. name 이름 mailing address 우편 주소 phone 전화 billing address 청구서 수신 주소 state 상태 Leave a message 전하실말씀 *Might I suggest you use the "Contact Us" (info@kjfoods.de) and email them all the info. and explain to them you want to order the Kosari but because you don't understand the language, it's difficult to order? They may comply and/or advise you as to how to order without having to fill in the form. Who knows. Good Luck.

I can see that Kosari in KJFoods.de but the website is all in Korean language :) I am not korean, and I cannot read korean language. I tried to use Google Translate (automatic), but that does not work on this site. Really, I spent few weeks just to hunt this down, but no luck. Unfortunately, for some reason I cannot travel far away from my current home location. Otherwise, I live just 2 hours from Dusseldorf which I can visit the Kim's Asia store (offline version of KJFoods). Anyway, I can find most Japanese stuffs pretty easily and there are a lot of english web-shops. But not korean web-shops :(

Hi, I am desperate to buy Kosari here in Europe and it seems I cannot find it online. I found in KJFoods.de, but there is no english nor german language. Anyone know any online shop which has Kosari in Germany / Netherlands / Belgium / UK ? ... in english or not in Korean language :) Thanks.

Hmart is a good Asian internet store. I placed my dry-goods order on 1/21/11 and received delivery on 1/28/11 via UPS nicely packaged. You can use PayPal so that was convenient for me. I planned ahead so yesterday I soaked my cabbage yesterday and when I received my hot pepper flakes today from Hmart, I made Kimchi this evening so it's now sitting overnight and I'll have delicious Kimchi to eat tomorrow.

I haven't been to the One Utama outlet but the ones in Ampang seened to have varieties to choose from. I suggest you check out the other stores around there. Some have freshly imported vegetables and frozen food stuffs while others don't.

hey @Criswen try dropping by KL sometime if you're free..there's a Korean Town in Ampang..a little hard to locate but you can always try One Utama shopping mall! there's Lotte Mart there too! :))

Anyone knows a good website for Korean products in Canada? There are Korean food stores at where I live(Edmonton, Alberta) but they're far from my place and they don't have everything I need. I've bought from Koamart and have been very happy with the results. I didn't buy any perishables from them but stuck to canned goods and tableware. The shipping can sometimes be a little "painful" when compared to the price of the food (sometimes as much as 1/3 of the total price), but they really do a great job packing and a whole set of ceramicware arrived at my house without so much as a hairline split in any of the items though they were packed with heavy canned foods as well.

I've order ingredients from Koa mart twice, and I must say that I really like it. There website is so much more easy to navigate than Hmart. I really recommend Koa mart for everyone here in the U.S. =)

I'm lucky, I live near Koreatown, but if you're looking to shop online in the US there is Koa mart <a href="http://www.koamart.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.koamart.com</a> which seems to be USA only. Same with Hmart <a href="http://www.hmart.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.hmart.com</a> which is Korean and English but the English site has a lot of Korean in it and is pretty confusing. I never shopped at any of these, but maybe someone who did can tell us if they're any good? Or recommend a better one.
