Hey!
I've just come home from the Korean market and I got some Odeng for making the tteokbokki.

My question is, how do I store my left overs? I plan to use them for other things but not right away. Do I freeze it or refrigerate?

You know those fish cakes that are like 8x10 sheets stacked on top of each other and sold several at a time and often sliced in small, flat rectangles? What are they called and how do you make them? Is it odeng? I want to learn how to make those (if we're talking about the same thing). Thank you!

Search this word "어묵" on the internet. You will see what it looks like. 어묵 is fish cake in Korean. The recipe for fish cake side dish will be posted someday later. I'm going to let you know when I post it.

My tofu side dish recipe will be posted in the future, too.

Thank you for your interest in my recipes.

Hi Maangchi,

I love your website! I am so glad that I found this website. My favorite cuisine is Korean food. I love your step by step videos!

I have a couple of questions to ask you in regards to banchan.

My husband loves the fish cake served in restaurants and I was wondering if you have a picture of the package so that I can buy it in the market. Also, do you have a recipe on it?

Also, I don't know the name of this but the restaurants also serve hard tofu with hot pepper flakes on it. Do you have a recipe on this as well?

Thank you! Looking forward to cooking more things!

Hi Maangchi :o)

My boyfriend and I were at our favorite Korean restaurant on Friday. They always bring us tiny plates of Korean side dishes before our meal there. One of my favorites is the fish cake... I asked the waitress how you say it in Korean and she called it "Oden" (sorry if the spelling it wrong!) It's so delicious, I would love how to learn how to make it or something similar at home! Do you have a recipe for it that you could maybe post on your website? I would be very grateful if you do :o)

Keep up the good work!
