The julienned potato dish is a Koreanized form of American potato salad. Most restaurants have their version of it and serve it as part of the banchan (gratis side dishes) that come with most meals. The milky sauce was probably watered-down mayo or mayo with added vinegar.

I had this potato side dish at a restaurant and was wondering if you could tell me how to make it. It had julienne potato in small slices, with slices of apples and pea as garnish with a white milky sauce covering the potatoes. Does anyone recognize what I am trying to describe?

Also, I had a potato pancake, was wondering how to make that as well :)
