<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm Korean, raised in Koreatown, Los Angeles. I was fortunate enough to eat Korean food at home everyday, so we rarely ate out. I can see why now, Korean food served at restaurants is expensive!!! I was never taught how to cook Korean food since Mom was the one who did all the cooking, while my brothers and I were in our room waiting to be called for food. Now that I'm living away from my family, I really miss Korean food. I am extremely happy to find Maangchi's website. Learning how to cook Korean food on this site brings back sweet memories of my mom's food. Thanks so much Maangchi.
