Hi

I am Jae Namgung (usually I go by Namkyoung), but Namgung is my mother's maiden name. I am half-Korean and half-Mexican, but my Mother and Father divorced when I was six. I was raised by my Father, he did his best and when I was eleven took me to a Korean church. I know a little bit of Korean and for a long while I wanted to learn how to make Korean food so I didn't always have to eat out, and now I can and it has been very wonderful and I am so glad that Maangchi is here so that I can learn how to cook food from my own culture and I can share this with my baby who is due to arrive on Feb 11th, 2012.
