I think Ubuntu Linux does a better job at rendering asian fonts than Windows.

Vista and Windows 7 have Korean fonts I think. Same with OSX. Linux has Korean fonts and it will display Korean text right out of the box. It does a great job of displaying Korean text at the top bar.

You can also buy little hangul stickers that you stick right to your keys. Check ebay, I'm sure they're pretty easy to find.

Hi jeaniem23,

Congratulations! Did you find the keyboard layout for hangul?

If not, here's the one that my version of Windows XP uses:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Keyboard_Layout_Hangul.png

It's pretty easy to get used to typing in hangul.

Good luck!

Finally figured it out. I had to install the additional East Asian language files from my Windows CD. Thanks for the replies and suggestions!

Hi,

If you go into the Help feature of your operating system (I assume you're using some version of Windows) and search under something like "Korean fonts", you'll find instructions. Basically, you have to download the necessary font(s) (they're free) and configure the "language bar" so that you can choose to type in that font.

Good luck!
