I have a German style fermenting crock can i use it to ferment soybean paste or do i have to buy an onggi. I ferment everything else in my crock I just want to be sure in case there’s a special reason to ferment in traditional way? thank you.
What is it made of? And does it have a lid?
The crock is made out of clay and has a lid with a mote for water to keep out bacteria. so it’s made the same just shaped different. I figured I could use it I just wanted to know if the shape made any difference.
