Advice for New Korean Mommy!

Hi Everyone,

I am an adult Korean adoptee. My husband (a white guy – LOL) & I are in the final stages to adopt our son from Korea. It’s ironic that only through adopting our son have I become interested in learning more about my own (and his) culture. I want to be an incredible Korean mommy. I know when he arrives, everything will be different. I’d love to learn some cooking tips/ recipes here to help make him feel more at home. He will be about 16 months old when he arrives. From what I understand, Koreans feed their kids porridge at about this age and the chicken porridge was highly recommended.
