Hello Everyone!
So, I am looking for a very simple recipe. I have asked my Omah lots of times and she is always giving me different answers. While dining at a Korean restuarant, they usually offer daenjang as a dipping sauce. ABSOLUTELY love this stuff! I remember as a child dipping cucumbers and watermelon into daenjang and simply snacking on it.
Anyhow, the question is HOW do I make this? I know it is not just soybean paste. Does anyone have a recipe for me so that I make it? Thanks so much!

Make ssamjang (soybean paste dipping sauce)
Combine these ingredients in a small bowl with a spoon until mixed well:
1/4 cup soy bean paste
2 tbs hot pepper paste
1 stalk of chopped green onion
1 clove of minced garlic, 2 ts honey (or sugar)
2 ts sesame seeds
1 tbs sesame oil.
