    hello everyone,

    i live near boston, ma. i wanted to make some persimmon punch (soo jeong gwa), but have had a really hard time finding dried persimmons. i even tried going to chinatown, but had trouble finding it.

    does anyone know of a place where i can purchase some dried persimmons, either online, or in town?

    Hi there,

    This is kinda late, but Cambridge has a decent Japanese market in the Porter Exchange building on Mass Ave called Kotobukiya. I'm not 100% sure if they carry dried persimmons, but if they don't, they can probably tell you where you can find them.

    You can get dried persimmon at Super 88 Market which is mostly a Chinese grocery store. I know because I bought some there once.

    Also there is an H-Mart that just opened up in Burlington.
