I used maanchi’s recipe last night to make my first trial of kimchi..wanted to practice before my grandma from Korea comes to visit me in October.
I did not do to rice flour porridge..but I think I will try that next time!

Making the sweet rice flour porridge is really very easy once you have done it a few times. My advice is don’t use a high flame.(If it burns you must start over) Take an extra few minuets and cook it at a lower temp it will thicken and always taste it, you may want to add more sugar….
