    Hi Maangchi,

    One of my absolute favorite dishes is ga je mi shikeh that my grandmother used to make. Do you know what this is? I guess it’s a dish peculiar to Northern Korea. It’s hot, spicy, fishy and makes my mouth water just thinking about it!

    I’ve found that many of my fellow Koreans don’t know what this is, but I hope you do!!!

    Also, do you have a recipe for gan jang ge jang and yang nyum ge jang? I love these…

    Hi, gajaemi shikhye is from North Korea. It’s a fermented and seasoned flat fish dish. I have never tasted it, but I am very interested in making it. I will include the dish in the list of my future video recipes. Thank you for your request.

    Maangchi, I am sure that you will love this! It’s so good!!!! The 무우 and 좁쌀 is great with a bowl of rice…mmmm….
