Hi there, My name’s Sylvia and I just discovered Maangchi about a day or so ago. I bought a small jar of kimchi from a local Asian supermarket and as I was eating it I had thoughts of “I wonder if there are recipes on Youtube for it?” This is how I came about finding Maangchi on Youtube and became an instant fan.
Here is some info about myself so you guys get to know me:
I am a 30 year old Polish/Italian American with a love for all kinds of foods. I will try any food once and if I do not like it I will not eat it gain but have come to love Asian foods (especially kimchi and sushi) My username Kassutera is actually a play on the Japanese word of Kasutera which is spongecake in japanese. I came up with this username a long time ago when I was in culinary school and doing a report on international foods, one of the foods I picked was Japanese spongecake ect…
I am an overall goofball so expect to see funny and witty comments from me but it won’t be anything serious such as breaking of forum rules ect… as I respect the rules.
Anyways it is nice to meet you all and I look forward to chatting with you on the site :D
