I am new to Korean cooking and food in general. I am from the Caribbean where we use a lot of fresh fish, poultry, vegetables, fruits, rice, soups and hot spicy dishes that for me similar to Korean soups and stews. My mom used so many of the same ingredients when cooking.
I was working in New York and worked for a Japanese company that funded an international cafe. I tried Jab Chae and I was hooked.
My love for Korean food comes from watching Korean dramas the food just looks so delicious. I was looking on line for cooking classes since I couldn’t find a really good restaurant were I lived. Now I hope I am able to attend Ms Maangchi’s class so I can be able to cook Korean food for my friends and myself.
