Hello from North Chicago

I’m one of the many that has been hit by “hallyu” (korean wave). From the tv series, fashion, and even food. I used to live in CA, and my neighborhood has an abundance of Korean restaurants (really good places to eat at) and have always been satisfied with just going there when I want to have some korean food. But now that I’m living in the suburbs and far from the city I decided to try cooking it myself.

I came across this website and got hooked ever since. Maangchi, your instructions are so easy to follow and you have so many helpful tips too that makes it easier for the novice in korean cooking.

I really look forward to exchanging more recipes and cooking experience with everyone here.
