I just recently found your site after trying 순두부찌개 (soondubu jjigae) and wanting to find out more about it. I’ve always been interested in cooking, though when I was a kid I mostly baked sweet things. I still do that, and have recently gotten serious about making pastries, breads, and of course NY style cheesecake. But now I really want to try cooking different styles of cuisine, including Korean and Chinese. It’s a good break from my typical American roots!
Aside from cooking, I study mathematics here and am hoping to finish my PhD soon. I’m also a saxophonist, and so I am a huge fan of improvised music.
Here’s a shout out to all the Seattle-ites!
