      Hi everyone! Im from Davao City,Philippines, happily married with my korean husband & living together in Seoul.

      Im on my 6th month stay here and i found myself craving for Korean spicy food everyday! Really! from snack to main dish! i really love it! and joining Maangchi.com made my craving more easy than before(coz i don’t have to go out, walk some distance esp.on a winter season..now, i can cook it whenever i want to eat it.hehehe)

      Hello! I’m Maureen. I’m married to a Filipino husband, but I started eating Korean food when I tried bibimbap a year ago. I went gaga over this dish and I wished that I could make it myself. Anyway, my husband bought a Korean cookbook and we tried some of Korean dishes. I came across to this website and I started making baechu kimchi out of scratch. Thank you, Maangchi, for opening this website to people who love eating Korean food. More power to you and to your website. Kamsamhamnida!
