      My husband loves the soy sauce (very sweet) potato recipe that is served in our local Korean restaurant. I found Maangchi’s Gamjajorim recipe and read the comments. someone said they wanted a sweet soy sauce potato recipe and she linked them to the Gamjajorim recipe.

      I followed the recipe, doubbled the amount of cornsyurup (1 tablespoon of cornsyurup and another of sugar)

      It ***still*** didn’t taste sweet at all.

      Am I making the wrong recipe? :/

      Hi Jak,
      Are you talking about this recipe? https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/potato-side-dishes
      If so, you can add more syrup to make yours sweeter.
      The recipe is for 1 pound (2 or 3 medium size potatoes).
      Good luck with making yummy gamjajorim!
