Just wanted to introduce myself, as I hope to be doing lots of Korean cooking, browsing around on this forum and hopefully meet new friends.
So here is a little introduction about myself: I was adopted from Korea when I was four months old. I’m currently 35 years old and live in Amsterdam with my husband and dog. I love to do all kinds of things like cooking and baking, but also crafty stuff like knitting, photography… you name it!
Though I have been making some of Maangchi’s recipes in the past (Bibimbap is one of my favorites, Kimbap, Kimchi, Jangjorim), I’ve always felt slightly intimidated by the “I don’t know if this tastes really Korean and how it is supposed to taste?”. However having had the chance to meet not only Maangchi on one of her Gapshida meetups, but also the lovely Susanne and Reinier, it has sparked my desire for cooking and eating more Korean food!!
