It is because Maangchi is a really good teacher, even if you do not see her or listen to her personally, she organized and produced her cooking videos so well, you could easily learn what she is teaching, even if you do not immediately cook her recipes right after watching her videos.

The only Filipino I knew who is as good, kind and unselfish as her is the guy of Panlasangpinoy.com or Vanjo something, who is also a good teacher of Filipino food recipes over the internet. I learned so much from both of them, although, it is not necessary to copy their recipes word for word, ingredient after ingredient, etc. etc. A little modification here and there to suit your taste will not harm, in fact, Maangchi usually encourages it from her viewers or readers or fans.
