I’ve made kimchi a few times now, always with great results. This past batch though, has turned out to have liquid that (sorry for the graphic description) has the same consistency as snot. Just very gooey.. not what I’m used to at all. I used a brine instead of dry salt, and for the first time added some fish paste. I’m a little bit scared of trying it, although it still smells ok. Has anybody else encountered this problem?
