Hi Maangchi, I am wondering if you have any salmon recipes….I was hoping to make some sort of Korean marinade for salmon but went totally blank when trying to figure one out ……hope you can help THANKS

Salmon is not familiar fish in Korean authentic food.

I just simply sprinkle some salt on salmon and rub it with some vegetable oil and roast it under the broiler. I will post the recipe someday on my website!

Does anybody else have a good and simple recipe for salmon?

I take salmon fillets and marinate 30 minutes in a mixture of soy sauce, garlic, onion, ginger, a little fish sauce and a little sesame oil. Oh, and a little black pepper, ground. Then grill. Delicious!

Yes. I sprinkle some bonito flakes, then add a little bit of soy sauce & water mixed together. I also sprinkle some lemon juice. Very simple but flavorful, and great for doshiraks if you take your lunch to work.

Well it’s not a korean recipe neither with korean ingredient but i’ve found the BEST salmon recipe (for me anyway) a while ago and i always do it that way now so here is the website link of the recipe : http://www.thecookierookie.com/salmon-with-avocado/ If you like you’re salmon salty, a little bit spicy and full of flavor and you have the option of putting a avocado salsa on top (the recipe is in the same page too) personally i like both version and i am crazy about avocado so.. hope you enjoy :)
