      HI,

      I’m having a birthday party for my son’s 1st year birthday this Saturday. Mostly relatives and some friends are coming and I asked them to bring a potluck dish (but I don’t know what they are bringing or if anyone is really bringing something). I was wondering what kind of dish do you recommend that is relatively easy, quick, not too expensive to prepare. Most of the folks don’t care for spicy food or know much about Korean food. (some are scared to try new food).

      What do you recommend?

      well since it is a baby’s first birthday

      try the rainbow rice cake for the baby (mujigaedduk)

      crispy chicken (dak kang jung)for the guests unless someone has a peanut alergy

      and kimbap because everyone likes sushi.
