After eating it a couple of times at the Korean restaurant, this evening I decided to cook some of the kimchi I hadn't been using for 2 weeks (stored in the fridge) to make my first Kimchi Jeon. I used half the quantity of the ingredients that Maanghi gave us (I'm home alone today), it is indeed very easy and the result is so nice, only I have to chop onion a bit more finely next time!
I didn't flip it like Maangchi does because I didn't want to waste my meal, as it would have landed anywhere but in the pan, instead I used the lid of the pan and it worked perfectly.
I post two photos: SP_A0192 is my Kimchi Jeon, SP_A0179 is how it is done in the restaurant I regularly visit. Smaller but they serve 4 like this for appetizer :-P
Hope you like my creation ;-)
