Hello. I have enjoyed many of the dishes you have posted. Can you please show us how to make Ton Katasu? This is fried breaded pork. My daughter enjoys it when we go out to eat.

    Thanks.

Donkatsu isn’t that hard to make.

Pork fillet can be substituted for pork chop.

There are tons of Donkatsu recipes and it’s not that hard to make. It’s very much like making schitznel. As far as the sauces go you can always use either the ketchup based sauce or the soy based sauce. Kikkoman sells a katsu sauce or you can search for a recipe for katsu sauce.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi

This recipe is for you …

    Ingredients:

    4 pork chops,

    1/2 tsp salt,

    1/4 tsp pepper,

    1/4 cup flour,

    1 egg,

    1/2 cup panko bread crumbs,

    Vegetable oil .

    Preparation:

Cut the edge of pork chops in several places and Sprinkle salt and pepper on the pork. Put flour lightly on the pork and Dip the pork in beaten egg. Put panko on the pork and pat them well. Fry the pork in 320F oil for a few min. Turn over the pork chops and fry a few more min. Take out the pork and put them on a paper towel to drain the oil. Cut each tonkatsu into small pieces. Now serve tasty Ton Katasu…
