I’m going to be making Kimchi this weekend for the first time. I was wondering what would be the best one to use, oysters or squid. I buy kimchi at my local asian market and it’s made with oysters. I love the taste of it so I’m thinking oysters?? Love to hear your thoughts. Thanks ^^
Think oysters would be better because it gives flavor to the kimchi. Squid in itself doesn’t enhance the flavor, it gives texture. I vote squid. I love kimchi! Have fun. :)
Ok, after reading my own post, I have to make a correction, I wanted to say, “I vote oysters,” not “squid.”
Know I know, its SQUID!!! Had a very bad time with oysters…
