      Hi, my Korean husband loves pickled cucumbers but the recipe is so salty. Is it really necessary in these days of refrigeration to add so much salt? I’d love some views on this.

      You can develop your own recipe by using less salt. It may work. Only problem is that the pickles may turn soggy if there is not enough salt.
